Tohoku University's Graduate School of Education will host its fourth webinar from its Webinar Series 2020. Discussions will take place on the transformation of education in the Asia-Pacific region in the era of new normal.
An expert from the UNESCO Bangkok Office will share progress and challenges in promoting number four - ensuring the provision of education - of the UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDF4) in the Asia-Pacific region. Scholars from China, Japan and the Republic of Korea will also share each country's efforts and challenges towards meeting the targets set out in SDG4.
Following their speeches, invited speakers will engage in discourse about the future of constructing inclusive, equitable and quality education and promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all by 2030. Concluding remarks will examine the role of universities in helping achieve SDG4.
