Job Description
The successful candidates will engage in research and education related to the next-generation electric power network systems, with an emphasis on electric power system engineering. The focus will be on distributed energy resources, smart grids, and energy management systems, all while considering environmental sustainability and economic efficiency.
The successful candidate will also teach classes at the Department of Electrical Information and Physics Engineering within the Faculty of Engineering.

Qualifications
- Candidates must have a doctoral degree upon appointment or be taking up the role
- Regardless of nationality, candidates should have a mutual understanding of English and Japanese
- The ability to instruct students with diligence

The Department of Electrical Engineering at Tohoku University is dedicated to advancing technologies for the sustainable and efficient use of energy, with a long-term perspective extending into the 22nd century.
