Job Description
The successful applicant will work alongside Professor Yusuke Nomura to promote research of Group B01 "Fundamental Theory and Design of Asymmetric Quantum Matters" in the research area of Scientific Transformation ("Visualization, Design, and Creation of Quantum Materials Colored by Asymmetry"). The area representative is Takahiro Onimaru (Hiroshima University).
For the specified research project, the successful applicant will develop a fundamental theory of asymmetric quantum matters and carry out materials design based on computational materials science. Expertise in any of the following is desirable:
- Theory of solid state physics
- Quantum many-body theory
- First-principles calculations
- Materials design
- Methods of data science

Qualifications
The successful applicant must hold a Ph.D. degree, or must be expected to receive a Ph.D. degree before employment.
