On September 6, a Tohoku University student tested positive for the coronavirus.
The student has not been on any of the university's four main campuses within the past two weeks.
Tohoku University will continue to take precautionary measures and make appropriate information available. In the meantime, it asks that the privacy of the affected student be respected.
