Tohoku University's Sumo Wrestling Club have come first at the National Seven Universities summer athletic games for their fourth consecutive year. The competitions were held at the Fujimi Sumo Wrestling Ground in Kawasaki, on August 28.
Team members also had success in the individual men's divisions:
