Tohoku University received an email claiming that bombs had been planted on campus, and that they would explode at noon on May 27. However, nothing unusual was reported to have occurred at that time.
Vigilance remains essential, and anyone who sees a suspicious person or unaccompanied package on campus - or in the vicinity of the university - should notify the following division immediately.
