Brain Food: The Sweet Smart Snack is Back!

Over the next three weeks, Tohoku University students can once again enjoy two flavours of Zuno doughnut - honey coconut and caramel - for just 50 yen each.

Zuno doughnuts are known as "brain doughnuts" because they contain vitamin B1, which is said to stimulate brain activity. Selected shops on campus will sell 600 of these special doughnuts every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from November 25 - December 13.

As with the popular 100-yen breakfast campaigns, this doughnut offer is possible due to a generous donation from the Tanaka Kikinzoku Memorial Foundation through the Tohoku University Fund.

Period: November 25 - December 13, 2024. (Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays only)
Price: 50 yen (limited to one per person)
Location: At the campus stores listed below
Doughnuts will be delivered at 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. The number of doughnuts at each store may vary.
