This is an opportunity for international students who are interested in career development in Japan.

A consortium of universities and institutions around Tohoku is offering a human resources development programme aimed at helping international students improve their Japanese language skills and better navigate the intricate customs unique to the Japanese workplace.

There are three main courses that participants can choose from - a regional course that focuses on employment in local Japanese companies, an entrepreneur course to help participants develop business ideas, and a global business course which prepares participants for employment in Japanese companies around the world.

In addition to the courses, the programme also provides useful networking opportunities within member institutions in the consortium - Tohoku Gakuin University, Tohoku Institute of Technology, Miyagi Womens' College and Tohoku University.
