Falling Walls Venture is an international forum for outstanding science-based start-up companies, venture capitalists and strategic investors. It is part of the prestigious Falling Walls Conference held every November in Berlin to celebrate innovation.
Falling Walls Venture Sendai 2017 is the qualifying event for Asia. Leading entrepreneurs and venture capitalists from around the region will pitch their outstanding science-based enterprises at Tohoku University, in the hopes of being selected for the event final in Berlin.
In total, 20 finalists from around the world will be making their presentations in Berlin. Each start-up will have five minutes to pitch its business concept to an international jury. The winner will be crowned "Falling Walls Science Start-Up of the Year" and will have the opportunity to present to an audience of 700 global movers and shakers at the main Falling Walls Conference.
