Tohoku University and Tsinghua University are once again contributing matching funds to support research and exchange activities jointly conducted by researchers at both universities beginning next academic year.
In order to qualify for funding consideration, proposals must be in areas of mutual interest that will strengthen the partnership between Tohoku University and Tsinghua University, and must include participants from both institutions.
To apply, submit an application form by February 17, 2020 after consultation with appropriate colleagues at Tsinghua University.
Online Application Period:
From December 3, 2019 (Tue) to February 17, 2020 (Mon)
Research Areas:
Applications from all fields are welcome. Priority will be given to proposals from Materials Science, Spintronics and Disaster Science
Funding Period:
From April 1, 2020 (Wed) to March 31, 2022 (Thu)
※However, due to both universities' financial years being different, the funding periods at each university will differ.
