Tohoku University Survival Japanese Program for new postgraduate students

Applications for Tohoku University Survival Japanese Program (TUSJ) are now open for all new graduate students!

TUSJ, which run from October 12 - 18, offers six classes on communicating in basic Japanese. Participants will learn useful situational phrases, as well as cultural information, to more effectively navigate and enjoy daily life in Sendai.

All new postgraduate students from the fall 2017 class who meet the following criteria are welcome to apply.
- First time learning Japanese
- Unable to take a formal Japanese course this semester
- Able to attend all classes in this program

The application deadline is October 6 and spots will be filled on a first come, first served basis.
