The symphony orchestras of Tohoku University and Kyoto University will hold a joint concert in Sendai on August 19. The two orchestras will first perform separately, and then together as an ensemble.

Kyoto University Symphony Orchestra:
Rachmaninov's Symphonic Dances Op.45
Joint Orchestra:
Wagner's The Mastersingers of Nuremberg
Sibelius' Sad Waltz
O.Respighi's Pines of Rome, The Pine of the Appian Way
