Online Networking Event for International Students

DATEntre-Tohoku Innovation Human Resources Development Consortium will host a networking event for international students on October 15. Owing to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the event will take place online via Zoom.

Foreign graduates who have gone through the job hunting process will speak candidly about their experiences working at Japanese companies. The speakers are working in a wide-range of industries such as IT, finance, sales and medicine. Speeches will be in Japanese.

The event is open to international students who are thinking about working in Japan after graduating.

Registration is required and can be found here along with the event information in Japanese.

Time: 7 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. (participants may freely join and leave)

DATEntre is a special Tohoku consortium set up in 2017 to support international students and help them navigate Japan's unique and complicated job hiring cycle.
