The 62nd Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society of Tropical Medicine

The Japanese Society of Tropical Medicine (JSTM) will convene its 62 Annual Meeting from November 3-5 under the theme "Global Health Issues During/After COVID-19."

A plethora of researchers and personnel from the private and public sector will deliver lecturers over a sweeping array of topics. Much of the discussions will focus on COVID-19 and its regional and research implications; but topics to be discussed include global health research and development funding, schistosomiasis, and migration and communicable diseases.

An equal number of Japanese and English sessions will be taking place. The keynote lecture will also be in English.

Registration for the event is required. Registrants can watch lectures live or on demand until November 30. Those registering before October 23 will received an early-bird discount on the registration fee.

On the first day of the meeting, a public lecture will be held. The lecture examines the state of vaccine rollout across the world. It is free of charge and will be conducted in Japanese.

Registration is required for those who wish to access the public lecture only. Registrants for the entire meeting need not register.
