4th FSC Seminar: "Geyser of Knowledge"

The Graduate School of Agricultural Science's Field Science Center (FSC) has been hosting an online luncheon seminar series aimed at sharing knowledge and introducing the research activities of its six laboratories.

In this 4th installment, Ahsanul Salehin from the Laboratory of Environmental Crop Science will give a talk titled "Beneficial Bacterial-Plant Interactions: From Growth Promotion and Colonization to Cross-Host Effects."

The lecture will explore how beneficial bacteria interact with plants, influence their growth and colonise different plant tissues. It will also look at various studies to determine whether bacteria that benefit one plant can promote growth in another, and how these findings could improve the effectiveness of bacterial inoculants in agriculture.

This English language online event is free and open to anyone who is interested.
