Tohoku University FGL Challenge in Vietnam: Video Contest

The Tohoku University Future Global Leadership (FGL) program aims, as the name suggests, to develop future leaders who aspire to identify problems that their community, country and the world face, and to offer solutions through technology and innovation.

In the spirit of the FGL program, Tohoku University is hosting a video contest and inviting high school students from Hanoi to submit ideas that can help improve society through sustainable and environmentally friendly development.

The videos should address specific problems found in Vietnam (or elsewhere around the world), and suggest viable solutions that can be implemented. Possible issues include environmental, ecological, health and/or energy challenges. Contestants are also encouraged to refer to the United Nations' list of Sustainable Development Goals for ideas.

The team that wins first place will be invited to make a presentation at Tohoku University. Members will also have the opportunity to experience Tohoku University's popular summer programs next year.
