Tohoku University's International Research Institute of Disaster Science has announced that this year's APRU-IRIDeS Multi-Hazards Summer School will be held from July 29 - August 1, and applications are now open.
This year's focus is "From Science to Society: Advancing Disaster Risk Reduction for a Resilient Future." Graduate students and young researchers interested in disaster risk reduction (DRR) and management are encouraged to apply.

This is a three-day seminar and site visit to an area affected by the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami.

- Session 4: Applying AI and Science for DRR
