The Institute for Materials Research (IMR) at Tohoku University will be hosting an international workshop focusing on synchrotron science, taking place from January 14 - 15, 2020. The IMR + MAX IV 2020 International Workshop is a joint research collaborative project between IMR and the MAX IV laboratory at Sweden's Lund University.
Synchrotron light source and material science have long been intertwined. The aim of the workshop is to foster further collaboration between material and synchrotron science. A host of leading researchers will be on hand to discuss their latest research topics.
The workshop will be preceded by a get-together reception on January 13. Furthermore, a social dinner will also be held on the opening day of the workshop.
Those interested are encouraged to register by the December 30 deadline.

Fees: Workshop attendance is free. The get-together reception is 2,500 yen and the social dinner is 4,500 yen.
