Tohoku University established a Research DX Support Center in November 2020 within the Tohoku Forum for Creativity on Katahira campus.

The center assists in data management tasks, such as remote data acquisition, high-speed data processing and the use of other data-driven technology. Data managers and data scientists will support the research community in responding to the ongoing digital transformation (DX).

To promote DX in research and to encourage use of the center, the Tohoku Forum for Creativity is hosting two seminars in which experts will speak on new and exciting DX initiatives in various fields.

The seminars are open to anyone who is interested, but early registration is required. Please click on each program for seminar details, and note that the lectures will be held in Japanese.
