Symposium: Materials Science and Spintronics for a Sustainable Future

Join leading researchers from around the world as they gather in Sendai this November for MSSp2026, a five-day symposium on materials science and spintronics.

Held under the theme of "Materials Science and Spintronics for a Sustainable Future," this event offers an important opportunity to explore sustainable solutions through advancements in materials science and spintronics. It will also serve as a platform for fostering international, interdisciplinary research.

This year, MSSp2026 enters a new stage by incorporating cutting-edge trends such as "AI for Science" and the digital transformation (DX) of functional materials to drive the next generation of research breakthroughs.

This English language symposium is open to all. Attendance is free, but registration is required.

Dates: November 9 - 13, 2026
Venues: WPI- AIMR Main Building (map) and the Laboratory for Nanoelectronics and Spintronics (map)
