The Tohoku University Center for Innovative Integrated Electronic Systems (CIES) is hosting a two-day online forum to introduce its current research activities.
These include collaborative research with a variety of domestic and overseas companies, to create energy-saving integrated electronics technology contributing to social needs such as carbon neutrality, AI / IoT / DX and Society 5.0.
On the first day, the CIES Progress Report will be presented. This will feature the results of CIES Consortium in FY2024, which has promoted three main activities: Industry-academic collaboration, national projects and community-based cooperation projects.

On the second day, an International Symposium will feature leading experts from Japan and abroad. Discussions will focus on research in spintronics semiconductors, power electronics and system applications aimed at realising drastic power-savings in devices and appliances.
