The International Graduate Program in Japanese Studies welcomes participants to join its sixth Tohoku Conference on Global Japanese Studies.
This three-day conference aims to bridge bold, new ideas between scholars inside and outside of Japan, ideas that transcend disciplinary boundaries such as linguistics, economics, pedagogy, anthropology, and Japanese intellectual history.
This year's event takes place under the theme: "A Sense of Place: Art and Innovative Methods." The event culminates with graduate students presenting their latest research.
Registration is not required. For further details, including a list of speakers, see here.
