Tohoku University Festival 2019

Kawauchi Campus will host the 71st Tohoku University Festival from November 2 - 4. The festival celebrates the activities of our students and places them at the heart of the festivities.

The three-day event includes a variety of food stalls, performances and the crowning of Mr. and Ms. Tohoku University.

The event is open to the public and is a chance to find out more about the work of our student community.

This year festivals will see comedians Anzen Manzai, and Juujimaru perform as well as a special lecture from public speaker Minowa Kousuke on the future of work.

Various science workshops will also take place, with last year's popular pet-bottle rocket-making also returning. For specific details, please see below.
