*The position is with the Collaborative Research Center on Energy Materials, Institute for Materials Research, Tohoku University; however, the work location will be the center's satellite office at Osaka Metropolitan University.
Job Description
IMR is seeking researchers to develop functional solid-state materials that contribute to the energy storage field, leveraging computational science methods based on inorganic materials chemistry and inorganic solid-state chemistry.
Successful candidates will collaborate with Professor Akitoshi Hayashi, focusing on evaluating the physical properties and structures of battery materials using computational science.

Qualifications
Applicant must hold a Ph.D. degree, or must be expected to receive a Ph.D. degree before employment.
