This year's fall commencement ceremony will be held on September 25 at Kawauchi Hagi Hall. It will be an in-person event for all graduating students. Family members and friends are welcome to attend.
As always, there will also be a live stream of the ceremony.
Date: September 25, 2026 (Friday)
Time: 1 p.m. (doors open at 12 noon and everyone should be seated by 12:45 p.m.)
Dress code: FormalVenue: Tohoku University Centennial Hall (Kawauchi Hagi Hall)
Address: 40 Kawauchi, Aoba-ku, Sendai City (map)※ Parking is extremely limited so please take public transport.
※ The nearest subway stations are Kawauchi and International Center.
Students who require special assistance should contact the Office of Educational Affairs at their faculty or graduate school before the end of August.
