Many students - past and present - love the endearing charm of Sendai. Known as the City of Trees, Sendai is a thriving metropolis, home to over a million people. It is also is a quick hop away from mountains, forests, and the sea.
The Global Engagement Division is offering a tour of the city for all those interested, with stops at many famous sites and two of Tohoku University's campuses.

| 10:15 - 11:15 | Street walk (Sendai Station, arcades, Mitakisan Fudoin Temple, Iroha-Yokocho, etc.) |
| 11:15 - 12:15 | Lunch (at the Katahira Campus cafeteria or a nearby restaurant) * |
| 12:15 - 14:15 | City walk (Ohashi bridge, Sendai Ryokusaikan, Statue of Tsunenaga Hasekura, Aoba Castle ruins, Kawauchi Campus) |
| 14:15 - 15:15 | Break at Kawauchi Campus |
| 15:15 - 16:00 | Walk back from Kawauchi Campus to Sendai Station and disband |
