Departing the Ivory Tower: A workshop on Entrepreneurial Research

The 5th FRIS-TFC collaborative workshop addresses familiar questions such as: How can I maximize the impact of my research? How can I take my research to market? What does academic entrepreneurship mean? Where should I start if I want to commercialize my research?

This workshop intends to showcase how research can transition from a purely academic endeavour to applications in the real world. Researchers and professionals will introduce their own work, share their career experiences and answer questions.

Students and young researchers planning their careers or hoping to transition from academia to industry (and vice versa), will find this workshop particularly useful.
