FRIS Symposium on Social Robots and Ethical Design

The Frontier Research Institute for Interdisciplinary Sciences (FRIS) is hosting a symposium that examines AI ethic standardisation for robot governance.

The symposium takes place over three days, and will discuss some of the following topics:

  • The rapid pace of technological advances and how the legislative process struggles to keep up
  • Regulatory framework that relies on non-binding and flexible AI ethics standards
  • The potential and limits of ethical robot design
