Post-TOCAT9 Symposium on Next Generation Synchrotron Radiation Facility Utilization for Catalysts Characterization

A synchrotron radiation (SR) facility is a remarkably strong tool for the characterization of catalysts and the other materials.

As construction of the Next Generation SR Facility (NGSR) enters its final phase at the new extension of Aobayama campus, Tohoku University is hosting an international symposium this July, to discuss recent progress in the characterization of catalysts, including heterogeneous, homogeneous, asymmetric and biocatalysts.

The sessions will also explore the establishment of novel characterization procedures, and the utilization of the NGSR, which is scheduled to be operational in 2024.
