Events

The Research Institute of Electrical Communication (RIEC) will host its Annual Meeting on Cooperative Research Projects on February 20. The meeting will feature presentations on RIEC's Cooperative Projects from the 2019 fiscal year where presenters will share their findings and results amoung the research community.

RIEC became a designated National Resource Center for information and communication in 1994. Since then it has carried out Cooperative Research Projects. The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology certified RIEC as a Joint Usage/Research Center in 2010.

In addition to Tohoku University lectures, presenters are also from Harvard University, the National Taiwan University, the University of Tokyo, and others. See below for a detailed program.

Registration is required but attendance is free of charge. Following the presentations, there will be a poster session, followed by a reception.

Fee: The presentations section is free. The reception is 3,000 yen.
