The Tohoku University Center for Innovative Integrated Electronic Systems (CIES) is hosting a two-day online forum to introduce its current research activities.
These include collaborative research with a variety of domestic and overseas companies, to create energy-saving integrated electronics technology contributing to social needs such as carbon neutrality, AI / IoT / DX and Society 5.0.
On the first day, the International Symposium will focus on research in spintronics semiconductors, power electronics and system applications aimed at realising drastic power-savings in devices and appliances.
On the second day, the CIES Progress Report will be presented. This will feature the results of CIES Consortium, which has promoted three main activities: industry-university joint researches, large national projects and regional collaborations.
