On November 16, the 68th Miyagi Prefecture Long Distance Relay Race took place by the Kitakami river in Ishinomaki city. The Tohoku University Track & Field Club (A team) came in first place.
The team acquired first place in sections 2, 4, 6 and 7. The total time was 2 hours 49 minutes and 39 seconds, making this year's win the 3rd consecutive win for the team.
