On January 2, Tohoku University's Rugby Club will represent the Tohoku region at the All-Japan Regional University Rugby Championship. It will be the club's third time taking part in the tournament, which will be held at Mizuho Rugby Stadium in Aichi Prefecture.
Their first game will be against Kyushu's champions - Kagoshima University - who were runners-up at last year's tournament.
