Be a speaker at TEDxTohokuUniversity

Be part of the second instalment of TEDxTohokuUniversity, Sendai's premier event for idea sharing!

What is TEDxTohokuUniversity?

TED is a non-profit organization devoted to spreading ideas, usually in the form of short, powerful talks. TED began in 1984 as a conference where Technology, Entertainment and Design converged. Today, TED covers almost all topics from science to business to global issues, in more than 110 languages.

Following in the successful footsteps of TED, TEDx is an independently organized event that similarly aims to encourage the sharing of ideas in communities around the world.

In April 2017, TEDxTohokuUniversity hosted its first annual conference at Aobayama campus. In 2018, participants can expect an even bigger, better event, with more exciting and invigorating ideas!

Why be a speaker at TEDxTohokuUniversity?

TEDxTohokuUniversity invites anyone with great ideas to share them on one of the most publicly recognized stages.

TED is known across the globe for bringing inspiring, groundbreaking talks through their conferences, as well as over the internet at TED.com. Speaking at TEDxTohokuUniversity will give participants the opportunity to spread their ideas to an international audience.
