The Department of Aerospace Engineering at Tohoku University is seeking candidates capable of developing a high-impact research program in the broad areas of Aeronautical Engineering. This is a tenure-track position, so candidates will be reviewed at the end of their seven-year term to potentially become full professor in the Aeronautical Engineering Group.
Successful candidates will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and graduate level courses. They are expected to supervise graduate students as they complete original research projects. Successful applicants will also develop plans for innovative research projects that possess the potential for international collaborations.
