To welcome new students to the Tohoku University family, the 2024 Entrance Ceremony will be held on April 3 at Xebio Arena Sendai. The in-person event will also be streamed live online.
There will be two short ceremonies - one for new undergraduates and one for graduate students. As seating at the venue is limited, only one family member per enrolled student may attend.
Date: April 3, 2024
Time:
・Undergraduate ceremony: 9:45 - 10:15 a.m.
(Doors will open at 8:30 a.m.; please be seated by 9:35 a.m.)
・Graduate ceremony: 11:30 a.m. - 12 noon
(Doors open at 11 a.m.; please be seated by 11:20 a.m.)

There is no parking at the venue so please use public transport.
Students participating in the ceremony should be appropriately dressed. Students who have a fever or who feel unwell on the day should stay home and watch the ceremony online.
