It's back! Breakfast for 100 Yen!

Tohoku University, in partnership with Co-op, will be offering students affordable breakfast from May 8 - 19.

For 100 yen, students can have a cooked breakfast at Kawauchi no Mori Dining or curry rice and ochazuke at Kitchen Terrace Couleur.

There will be two different set meals on the menu each day with an emphasis on pork. This limited 10-day event is only for Tohoku University students. A meal card or student ID is required.

Dates: May 8 - 19 (excluding weekends)
Time: 7:50 am - 8:50 am
Venue: Kawauchi-Kita Campus, Kawauchi-no-Mori Dining (menu changes daily) and Kitchen Terrace Couleur (curry rice and ochazuke)
Price: 100 yen
Limited to the first 600 students each day

This round of affordable breakfast is once again sponsored by the Tanaka Memorial Foundation through the Tohoku University Fund. And the Sangen pork used in the meals is donated by Hayashi Farm Co. Ltd. and Gunma Meat Co. Ltd., whose presidents are Tohoku University alumni.

This promotion is also part of the Alumni Association's on-going "Support Student Life!" campaign which began as a way to help students who are financially impacted by the on-going COVID-19 pandemic.
