International symposium on Academic Leadership

Tohoku University's Institute for Excellence in Higher Education will hold an international symposium on academic leadership on November 23 at the Sendai International Center. The symposium will highlight the rapidly changing landscape of higher education, and the need to development academic leaders to support effective governance.

Academic administrators from Australia, the UK, Taiwan and Japan will share their expertise on strategic management and education reform in the context of their own countries, while addressing the common challenges that all higher education institutes face.

The symposium is open to faculty members and those with a particular interest in higher education.
