On June 10, the DEI Lounge will host a book talk focused on a special issue of "SRHR" published by etc.books, a Tokyo-based publishing house specializing in feminist writings.
This event is part of Karari's Monthly Casual Gathering, where a counselor from Karari is on hand at the DEI Lounge every second Wednesday of May, June and July for open discussions on issues related to diversity.
This Japanese language book talk is free and open to all students, faculty and staff. Reservation is not required.

The DEI Lounge, opened in 2024 on Kawauchi campus, is a safe space staffed by students and members of the DEI Center. Individuals or groups are encouraged to use the space to discuss topics such as gender, sexuality, disability and ethnicity, or hold activities that promote inclusion.
