Reconsidering Area Studies from the Perspectives of Evolution and War Symposium

The Center for Northeast Asian Studies will hold a celebration of its 30th anniversary.
To commemorate this milestone, a special symposium will be held on May 15 and 16.

The symposium will bring together researchers and experts from Tohoku University, and other universities within and beyond Japan.

Date: May 15-16, 2026 (Hybrid on May 15 only; other sessions are in-person only)
