The Tohoku University Admissions Center's Student Recruitment & PR Strategy Division welcomes applications for the following positions.

Position

Job Description

Appointees will work closely with other staff to execute and support the recruitment initiatives for the Gateway College international student program. This will include outreach to leading academic institutions in priority regions, focusing on top schools and internationally recognized educational organizations. Appointees will also coordinate activities with overseas agents and liaisons to strengthen global partnerships and enhance recruitment efforts.

Additionally, appointees will be responsible for developing and proposing strategic plans for overseas recruitment. This will involve conducting survey research to evaluate operational performance and identify areas for improvement. Their work will ensure that recruitment strategies are aligned with the college's global expansion objectives.

Appointees will collaborate with various departments within Gateway College to support the integration of the new Intercultural Collaborative Learning undergraduate curriculum, set to launch in 2027. This role will be critical in shaping the international recruitment strategy and ensuring its alignment with the institution's broader academic goals.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree or above
• Relevant experience in the following areas: overseas recruiting, overseas PR activities, student admissions
• Motivated to promote student recruitment
• Knowledge/skills related to data analysis and ICT system administration/operation (preferred)
• Japanese skills (preferred)

   Submit a written statement in either Japanese (approximately 2000 characters) or English (approximately 1000 words). The statement should outline your goals and plans for recruitment and PR activities, both internationally and domestically. The format is flexible.
4. Proof of English Proficiency:
   Provide evidence of your English language proficiency through any official certification or documentation.
5. References:
   Include the names, affiliations, and contact information of two individuals in Japan (if possible) who can serve as references.
