Enjoy a New Flavour of Zunoko 'Brain' Doughnut

Over the next three weeks, Tohoku University students can once again enjoy guilt-free zunoko "brain" doughnuts for just 50 yen each. Sprinkled with kinako sugar, these doughnuts have a subtle sweetness that is perfect for autumn.

Zunoko doughnuts are known as "brain" doughnuts because they contain vitamin B1, which is said to stimulate brain activity. Six hundred of these special doughnuts will soon be sold three times a week at selected shops on campus.

Period: November 17 - December 8, 2025 (only on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays)
Price: 50 yen (limited to one per person, student ID may be required)
Location: At the campus shops below

As with the popular 100-yen breakfast campaigns, this doughnut offer is possible due to a generous donation from the Tanaka Kikinzoku Memorial Foundation through the Tohoku University Fund.
