The Qatar Science Campus is located on the Aobayama Campus inside the Tohoku University Qatar Friendship Fund Hall. The project is supported by the Qatar Friendship Fund and offers elementary, junior high, and high school students in Miyagi prefecture the chance to experience advanced scientific research. It is hoped that by engaging students in experiments that will fuel their interest in science and manufacturing technology, the QSC will cultivate the next generation of engineers and researchers.
