74th Tohoku University Festival

Wrapping up a highly eventful October is the 74th Tohoku University Festival, a celebration of student life, campus activities and school spirit.

This year's theme is "Todoroki" (meaning a thunderous roar) and it will be held from October 28 - 30. Over the three days, various student groups will perform and showcase their projects.

Everyone is invited to attend in person, and for the first time since the COVID-19 pandemic, the festival is open to the general public. The maximum capacity for each day has also been raised to 5,000 people.

Early registration is required and slots will be assigned on a first come first served basis.

Dates and times: October 28 - 30, doors open at 8:30 a.m.
Venue: Tohoku University Kawauchi North Campus and Kawauchi Hagi Hall
