Tohoku University International Festival

The largest multicultural event in Sendai is coming to campus on May 22. Tohoku University's International Festival is run by the Tohoku University Foreign Students Association(TUFSA) in collaboration with regional international exchange organizations. It aims to showcase the various cultures within our community, and celebrate the university's commitment to diversity.

TUFSA invites the wider community to come and join the fun at Kawauchi Hagi Hall and watch cultural performances from all around the world. At the interactive corner you can try your hand at a traditional craft or game, or practise a foregin language with one of our international students.
