Symposium: SiRIUS Institute of Medical Research

The SiRIUS Institute of Medical Research is hosting a symposium this October on the future of physician-scientist development and translational medical innovation.

The event will feature keynote lectures by two distinguished academic leaders.

Mai-Szu Wu, President of Taipei Medical University and a SiRIUS Visiting Professor, will speak on the topic of "Healthy Taiwan and Smart Hospital."

While Keisuke Goda, a SiRIUS Distinguished Professor, will present a lecture on "Seeing, Measuring and Engineering Life from the Nanoscale to the Whole Organism."


This English-language, hybrid event is open to all, but registration is required.

The SiRIUS Institute of Medical Research was established in April 2025 to serve as a core hub for clinical research and medical innovation. It provides early-career physician-scientists with dedicated, independent research environments, enabling them to translate innovative medical seeds into practical clinical applications.
