Job Description
The job entails research and development for student selection systems, encompassing planning, design, and implementation to enhance fairness and effectiveness in admissions processes.
The role also involves evaluating and improving student selection systems through follow-up studies, high school surveys, and data analysis. The successful candidate will provide consulting and support related to evaluation methodology design and implementation for both undergraduate departments, including the Gateway College launched in 2027, and graduate departments such as the Advanced Graduate School.
Additional duties include coordinating and cooperating with high schools, the National Center for University Entrance Examinations, other universities, and the Japan Association of National Universities to ensure alignment with national standards and policies. The position also supports domestic student recruitment and public relations activities to strengthen outreach efforts.

Qualifications
- Experience relevant to research and system design in educational measurement/evaluation, including domestic or overseas university student selection
- Experience in research, development, and application of Computer-Based Testing (CBT) and generative AI utilization in educational measurement/evaluation
- Knowledge and practical experience related to CBT and generative AI from educational industries or enterprises
- Specialization in psychology (measurement/evaluation), educational measurement, test theory, information science, educational engineering, or related fields
- Practical experience in related fields with an interest in university admission system research and design
