Over the next three weeks, Tohoku University students can enjoy Double Chocolat, a new flavour of the brain doughnut, for just 50 yen each.
These doughnuts are called "brain doughnuts" because they contain vitamin B1, which is said to stimulate brain activity.

Selected shops on campus will sell 600 of these special doughnuts every Monday, Wednesday and Friday from June 9 - 27, 2025.
As with the popular 100-yen breakfast campaigns, this doughnut offer is possible due to a generous donation from the Tanaka Kikinzoku Memorial Foundation through the Tohoku University Fund.
